摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid-state image pickup device which improves white flaws or saturation charge amount and is suitable for micro-fabrication. <P>SOLUTION: A solid-state image pickup device according to this embodiment prepares two block-based blocks which share an output circuit with three pixels, to set one cell of six pixels in such a way that one of the blocks is rotated by 180 degrees and disposed so as to share a reset drain, and thus set cells are disposed in a square lattice form or a checkered form, thereby reducing as many as possible an element isolation region between pixels and the output circuit adjacent to the pixels, and reducing the number of wiring around each pixel, to raise margins for white flaws or saturation charge amount, even in the case of micro-fabrication of the cells. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
