<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an acoustic device for adjusting to an optimal loop gain according to a change in environment. <P>SOLUTION: An acoustic device 1 includes two speakers SP1 and SP2, and a portable microphone MIC. The acoustic device 1 superimposes a PN code having a high autocorrelation on an audio signal collected and generated by the microphone MIC to output the resultant signal to the speakers SP1 and SP2. The acoustic device 1 allows a storge section 27 to store loop gains in association with a distance D1 from the speaker SP1 to the microphone MIC and a distance D2 from the speaker SP2 to the microphone MIC, obtains the loop gain corresponding to the measured distances D1 and D2 as a threshold value from the storage section 27, and adjusts a gain of the device to prevent howling when the assumed loop gain approaches the threshold value. The acoustic device 1, when the howling occurs, registers the loop gain in association with the distances D1 and D2 in the storage section 27. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
