PURPOSE: A transmission comprises an input member, an output member, four planetary gear sets, multiple coupling members, and multiple torque transferring devices and continuously connects the first member of a first planetary gear set to the second member of a second planetary gear set. CONSTITUTION: First to fourth planetary gear sets(14,16,18,20) comprises a first, second and third members. An input member(12) is successively combined with a first node(16A) of the second planetary gear set. An output member(22) is combined with a third node(18C) of the third planetary gear set and a second node(14B) of the first planetary gear set. A first mutual connecting member successively connects the first member of the first planetary gear set to the second member of the second planetary gear set. A second mutual connecting member successively connects the second member of the first planetary gear set to the third member of the third planetary gear set. A third mutual connecting member successively connects the third member of the first planetary gear set to the third member of the fourth planetary gear set. A fourth mutual connecting member successively connects the third member of the second planetary gear set to the second member of the third planetary gear set. A fifth mutual connecting member successively connects the first member of the fourth planetary gear set to a fixing type member. Six torque transferring device respectively combines at least one from the first through the third members with one chosen among the first through the third members and a fixing member.
