<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical apparatus that can restrain any positional lags between a color composite optical device and optical modulation devices, and a projector using the same. <P>SOLUTION: An optical apparatus 44A comprising a plurality of optical modulation devices 441 and a color composite optical device 445 having a plurality of luminous flux incidence faces each opposing one or another of the optical modulation devices 441 is provided with at least one each of fixing member 51 to which the optical modulation devices 441 are fitted and of supporting member 53 that is fitted to the color composite optical device 445 and supports the fixing member 51. The supporting member 53, formed of a bent metal sheet, has a plurality of supporting parts 532 and 533 that provide support by protruding toward the fixing members 51 outside the luminous flux transmitting area. The fixing members 51 have holes 5151 and 5161 which are formed to match the sectional shape of the supporting parts 532 and 533 rectangularly shaped in a sectional view and into which the supporting parts 532 and 533 are to be inserted, and a fixing part to which the optical modulation devices 441 are fixed, and the holes 5151 and 5161 and the fixing part are disposed on the same plane. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
