<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving device of a liquid-jet head that can reduce a variation in a drive signal applied to a liquid-jet head, and to stabilize droplet ejection properties of the liquid-jet head without increasing sizes and costs of components. <P>SOLUTION: The driving device of the liquid-jet head applies the drive signal to a piezoelectric device that includes electrodes facing each other corresponding to a plurality of nozzles to eject droplets from the nozzles. In the driving device of a liquid-jet head, one of the electrodes is connected to a reference potential part to which reference potential is fed while the other of the electrodes is connected to one end of a plurality of switching devices connected in parallel to each other and subject to selective on/off-control, and the other end of the switching devices is connected to a drive signal source. At least one of the switching devices has electrically conducting properties for not ejecting a droplet from the nozzle with a driving signal applied to the switching device in an on-controlled state, and the switching device having the electrically conducting properties for not ejecting the droplet from the nozzle is on-controlled to eject droplets from one or more of the nozzles. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
