<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent folding creases from occurring in a polymer film in a feeding roller, and to prevent the change in an optical characteristic. <P>SOLUTION: A polymer film 3 which is subjected to a drawing process is fed along a feeding channel of a plurality of feeding rollers 41a, 41 provided in a casing 6a in the casing 6a to bring superheated steam into contact. The inside of the casing 6a has a change rate of humidity from the outside of a casing 6b of 100g/m<SP POS="POST">3</SP>sec or more. The first feeding roller 41a of the plurality of feeding rollers 41a, 41 provided in the casing 6a is at a position in which a change rate of dimension of the polymer film 3 which is subjected to the drawing process is 0.05%/sec or less.
