摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a torque hinge that has high torque and little variation in torque, and facilitates to secure a wiring space, though in a configuration using a biasing device whose biasing force is small. <P>SOLUTION: In the torque hinge 10: a through-hole 10A is provided at a position which overlaps an axis L of rotation of the hinge; two pairs of friction plates which are toric first and second friction plates 14A and 15A and third and fourth friction plates 14B and 15B are arranged on both front and back sides of a friction plate fixing part 13a for each pair; and the friction plates are sandwiched between a flange 11b of a first member and a flange 12a of a second member. Three biasing mechanisms 18 for biasing the flange 12a to a side of the flange 11b to bring the friction plates into contact with one another by pressurizing are equally arranged in the circumferential direction at a position out of the axis L of rotation of the torque hinge 10.
