<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly operate a communication system that allows a mediation device arranged outside a user environment to mediate communication between a plurality of first communication devices and a second communication device. <P>SOLUTION: In a communication device 10 which receives mediation by a mediation device 30 in communication with a management device 40, first address information of a destination to communicate is stored upon communication with the management device 40 using communication methods each being usable by the communication device 10. Selection of a communication method to be used for communication with the management device 40 is received (S102). If the selection is made, communication with the communication destination is executed according to the first address information which is stored corresponding to the selected communication method (S103). Second address information transmitted from the communication destination in response to the communication is stored (S106).
