<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving device in which, even when a load is applied, sliding hardly occurs between a fixing ring and a member to be rotated, and even when the fixing ring and the member to be rotated are separated in some degree, magnetic force for attracting each other hardly decreases. <P>SOLUTION: A driving device includes: a member 5 to be rotated; a fixing ring arranged so as to surround the member 5 to be rotated at an interval from an outer peripheral surface of the member 5; and a plurality of pieces of urging means 3 and 4. The plurality of pieces of urging means 3 and 4 can switch between a first state for urging the member to be rotated outward in a radial direction of the fixing ring and a second state for releasing the urging, and are arranged at substantially equal intervals along a circumferential direction of the fixing ring. An external gear 5a is formed in the outer peripheral surface of the member to be rotated, and an internal gear 2a is formed in an inner peripheral surface of the fixing ring, and the urging means includes a yoke 4, and a coil 3 for exciting the yoke. The coil 3 is arranged in the fixing ring 2 so that a center of the winding is arranged at an axial position substantially aligned with a radial line of the fixing ring 2 and passing through an engaging portion of the gears or the vicinity of the engaging portion. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
