<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress occurrence of a reverse vision phenomenon and reverse vision cross talk while securing a gap between a parallax barrier and a black matrix in a multiple-view liquid crystal display device. <P>SOLUTION: The black matrix 7 is arranged on a counter substrate 6 of a liquid crystal panel 10 at a counter face facing a TFT substrate 4. A parallax barrier 8 is arranged on the black matrix 7 via a gap layer of a prescribed thickness. The black matrix 7 includes first light shielding sections 71 arranged immediately below openings 80 of the parallax barrier 8, and second light shielding sections 72 immediately above of which are covered by the parallax barrier 8. The second light shielding sections 72 have low refractive index films 72a (reverse vision prevention films) having a lower refractive index than the liquid crystal 5 at their terminal ends respectively adjacent to pixel openings 70 between adjacent first light shielding sections 71. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
