<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fastener in which a second member is smoothly inserted into a first member without rapid change in the insertion force, an increase in the insertion force at the latter half of insertion of the second member into the first member is suppressed, and operability in insertion is improved. <P>SOLUTION: The fastener 10 is configured in such a manner that when a pin 14 is pressed into a grommet 12, a guide element 56 formed at the tip of the pin 14 contacts a guided element 42 of the grommet 12 and a leg part 34 of a leg 28 of the grommet 12 bends and is expanded. The guided element 42 of the leg part 34 of the leg 28 of the grommet 12 is then engaged with a top end 56A of the guide element 56 of the pin 14. The guide element 56 of the pin 14 is a curved surface of which the tangent angle θ with respect to the axis line 14B at the point of contact P1 with the guided element 42 changes extending from the external periphery of the tip 14A of the pin 14 toward the top end 56A, the insertion force S into the grommet 12 of the pin 14 at each point of contact P1 being held roughly constant. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
