<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a user to give an instruction for output of document data before the transition of conduction from normal conduction to power-saving conduction, thereby reducing the number of times of restoration operation to improve a power-saving effect. <P>SOLUTION: A data processing device 2 comprises a storage device 15 for storing document data. The data processing device 2 determines transition timing of conduction from the normal conduction to the power-saving conduction and determines notification timing which precedes the transition timing by a predetermined period. Then, when the notification timing passes while the document data is stored in the storage device 15, the data processing device 2 identifies a user who has a plan to use the document data and notifies the user of the request for the instruction for output. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
