<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crystal deposition inhibitor precursor which can inhibit deposition of pigment aggregate on the surface of a colored layer (coating film) at a high-temperature heating process in the production process of color filter, can achieve high contrast, and hardly causes increase of phase difference in the colored layer. <P>SOLUTION: This crystal deposition inhibitor precursor is expressed by chemical formula (1), where in chemical formula (1), A<SP POS="POST">1</SP>represents Cl, Br, methyl, sulfo or phenyl; m denotes an integer of 0-5, provided that when m is an integer of ≥2, a plurality of A<SP POS="POST">1</SP>s each may be the same or different; B<SP POS="POST">1</SP>and B<SP POS="POST">2</SP>each independently H or a group represented by chemical formula (2), at least one of B<SP POS="POST">1</SP>and B<SP POS="POST">2</SP>is the group represented by chemical formula (2); PCy is a condensed ring group which may have a substituent or contain a heteroatom, or a multi-cyclic compound group represented by chemical formula (3).
