MARK FORMING DEVICE, IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS, AND MARK FORMING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique which can easily provide information about degradation of a sheet and which also facilitates confirmation by a user.

SOLUTION: The mark forming device includes: an image acquisition part; a calculation part; a detection part; and a formation part. The image acquisition part scans and acquires an image formed on a sheet. The calculation part calculates a color material adhesion amount of the image from the image acquired by the image acquisition part. The detection part detects a predetermined mark having been already formed on the sheet. The formation part adds a predetermined mark having a shape depending on the color material adhesion amount calculated by the calculation part to the existing predetermined mark detected by the detection part and forms them on the sheet.
