A receiving component (21) receives an electrical component (1). The electrical conductors conductively connect the terminals (13) of electrical component with contact portions of carrier substrate. The pins (23) secure the holding device (2) in opening of carrier substrate. A press element presses the electrical conductors into holes on contact portion of carrier substrate. The electrical conductor has a clamping element for electrically contacting the terminal. The retaining portions (25) secure the electrical conductors on holding device. An independent claim is included for a method for assembling electrical component.
