<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gable roof building capable of reducing the number of components, material cost, and labor hours for construction and forming a sloped ceiling space having little noise. <P>SOLUTION: A ridge beam 4 and a ridge column 6 of a ridge frame 2A are pin joined. The ridge frame 2A and a beam frame 2B are joined to a roof structure plane 3 having in-plane stiffness. The roof structure plane 3 having in-plane stiffness transmits an in-plane shear force, and thereby is capable of preventing deformation. A horizontal force acting on the ridge frame 2A can be thus transmitted to the beam frame 2B through the roof structure plane 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
