<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ganaxolone formulation which provides enhanced stability, physical and chemical properties and can provide enhanced pharmacokinetic properties to achieve an optimal balance between pharmacodynamic and side effect profiles in mammals, and dosage forms containing the same, as well as a method for preparing ganaxolone formulations and their use in the treatment of epilepsy-related and other central nervous system disorders. <P>SOLUTION: The composition contains stable particles comprising ganaxolone, wherein the volume-weighted median diameter (D50) of the particles is from about 50 nm to about 500 nm. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
