<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To have a hand pouring appliance surely transit from an upright state to a fallen state and to surely prevent discharging of hot water outside through a steam port in an inclined upright state even when the hand pouring appliance is made to fall. <P>SOLUTION: The hand pouring appliance includes a closed-end cylindrical appliance body 2 and a handle section 8. A water stop valve Q against falling is provided in a lid 5, the valve preventing discharging hot water W in the appliance body 2 to outside through a steam port 18 in the lid 5 when the appliance body 2 falls, and an approximate flat outer surface 8a is provided on the handle 8. A lower peripheral surface 2b on a rear section side of the appliance body 2 on a lower side of the handle 8, is disposed with a projection 50 projecting to the outside in the diameter direction is arranged at a position within the width in the right and left direction of the handle 8, and being in a position deviated to one side of the right or left direction to an axis L4 of the width, when viewed from the front and back view of the appliance body 2. In addition, the projecting height in the projection 50 is set to a projecting height projecting toward the outer side in the diameter direction of the appliance body 2 than a virtual straight line L1 connecting the outer surface 8a of the handle 8 and a lower peripheral surface 2b on the appliance body 2 when viewed from a side surface of the handle 8. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
