<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diagnostic system for work machine capable of securing many pieces of snapshot data associated with specific abnormality. <P>SOLUTION: It is not assumed that overheating occurs at the night in winter, and many pieces of data on overheating (specific abnormality) need to be gathered quickly so as to find the cause of the abnormality. Once an administrator specifies an abnormality code "100" (overheating) through a terminal 16 for administration, a snapshot storage control part 35 specifies the abnormality code "100". Once the overheating occurs, the snapshot storage control part 35 stores only snapshot data associated with the abnormality code "100" in a snapshot storage part 36. At this time, even when abnormality other than the overheating occurs, snapshot data associated with the abnormality is not stored.
