摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal-based self-lubricating composite material that maintains sufficient self-lubricity and strength even under severe high temperature conditions, also keeps the surface unstained. <P>SOLUTION: A metal-based self-lubricating composite material is obtained by solid solution-strengthening and/or dispersion-strengthening a metal matrix with 40-80 vol.% solid lubricant-binding particle with grain size of 400 nm or smaller, where the solid lubricant-binding particle is obtained by binding 85-99 vol.% one or more hexagonal BN crystal with 1-15 vol.% in total comprising a substance A of one or more sodium silicate and silica as the binder, and a substance B of one or more frit selected from the group consisting of mica, talc, aluminum silicate and alumina cement. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
