<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel heterocyclic compound that can be used, in a light-emitting element, as a host material in which a light-emitting substance for a light-emitting layer is dispersed. <P>SOLUTION: The heterocyclic compound is represented by general formula (G1). In the formula, any one of R<SP POS="POST">1</SP>-R<SP POS="POST">10</SP>is a substituent represented by general formula (G1-1), another one of R<SP POS="POST">1</SP>-R<SP POS="POST">10</SP>is a substituent represented by general formula (G1-2), and the others are each independently hydrogen, a 1-6C alkyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted phenyl group, or a substituted or unsubstituted biphenyl group; α<SP POS="POST">1</SP>and α<SP POS="POST">2</SP>are each independently a substituted or unsubstituted phenylene group or a substituted or unsubstituted biphenyldiyl group; and A<SP POS="POST">1</SP>and A<SP POS="POST">2</SP>are each independently a substituted or unsubstituted carbazolyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted dibenzothiophenyl group, or a substituted or unsubstituted dibenzofuranyl group. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
