<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin display device that employs a common chassis frame to which a circuit board is attached, to reduce the kinds of components. <P>SOLUTION: A rear cabinet body 23 of a rear cabinet 22 has a shape of covering the whole of a back surface of a thin display device 10. In substantially the center thereof, a board attachment recess 40 is formed to be recessed inward so as to form substantially rectangular parallelepiped space. In the board attachment recess 40, an electric circuit board 50 such as a power source substrate or an image processing substrate is installed.
