<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a membrane filter apparatus, along with an operation method and damage detection device, capable of efficiently performing the cleaning and the damage detection of a filter membrane. <P>SOLUTION: A membrane filter apparatus includes: a membrane module having a filter membrane, which divides the inside into a primary side region and a secondary side region, and which filters a raw water supplied from the primary side region by using the filter membrane and discharges the filtered raw water from the secondary side region as a treated water; a treated water tank which stores a treated water discharged from the membrane module; a treated water supply means, which is connected to the secondary side region of the membrane module with piping, and which supplies the treated water stored in the treated water tank in cleaning the membrane module to the secondary side region of the membrane module via the piping; and a pressurized air supply means which supplies a pressurized air to the piping used for supplying the treated water; and a damage detection means which detects the damage of the filter membrane, based on the amount of leakage from the secondary side region to the primary side region of the membrane module, concerning the pressurized air supplied by the pressurized air supply means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
