TRANSPARENT FILM-FORMING COATING MATERIAL, AND BASE MATERIAL WITH TRANSPARENT FILM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transparent film-forming coating material capable of forming a transparent film excellent in adhesion to a base material, hardness, scratch resistance, transparency and the like, wherein curling can be prevented even if a thin base material is used.

SOLUTION: The transparent film-forming coating material comprises: an acrylate resin (A) having the number of functional groups of 4 or more; an acrylate resin (B) having the number of functional groups of 2 and/or 3; metal oxide fine particles (C) each having an average particle diameter of 5 to 500 nm; and an organic solvent (D). The concentration ratio [(CB)/(CA)] between the concentration (CA) of the acrylate resin (A) and the concentration (CB) of the acrylate resin (B) falls within the range of 0.05 to 0.5.
