<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for distributing and managing keys that secure content in a digital cinema system. <P>SOLUTION: Key management in a digital cinema system 1000 occurs by encrypting a feature key associated with encrypted content with transmission keys 4001-4004 exchanged with decryption modules 6001, 6002 that serve to decrypt the encrypted content.
