<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the blur of a virtual image in a display image layer. <P>SOLUTION: A head-up display device 100 visibly displays a virtual image 70 of a display image 71 from the inside of a room of a vehicle 1 by projecting the display image 71 onto a projection plane 91 of the vehicle 1. The head-up display device 100 includes a laser scanner 10 that projects a light flux to be the display image 71 and a screen member 30 that diffuses the light flux so as to guide the light flux to a visible area 60, which is an area where a viewer can view the virtual image 70 in a room. The screen member 30 includes a plurality of optical element parts 32 arranged in a gridlike fashion. The surface of each optical element part 32 forms a curve surface 32a so as to diffuse an incident light flux. The pitch Pn of each optical element part 32 is set such that a diffraction width Δdn of a light flux that is diffused by each optical element part 32 and comes into the visible area 60 becomes equal to or less than the pupil diameter ϕp of the viewer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
