<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a three-dimensional diagnostic imaging system for efficiently performing a differential diagnosis by making sectional comparison of any cross section including an affected part between a three-dimensional ultrasound image and a three-dimensional diagnostic modality image. <P>SOLUTION: The three-dimensional diagnostic imaging system includes: an ultrasound diagnostic imaging apparatus capable of displaying a three-dimensional image of any cross section from volume data including the affected part of a subject; a three-dimensional medical diagnostic imaging apparatus for displaying the three-dimensional image of a cross section substantially identical to any cross section of the three-dimensional image from volume data from a medical diagnostic imaging modality; and an image processing/display unit capable of synchronously displaying the plurality of three-dimensional images from both diagnostic imaging apparatuses, or the plurality of three-dimensional images of the substantially identical cross sections between the volume data of different time phases from the same medical diagnostic image modality, respectively. The image processing/display unit includes a spherical region display unit for displaying a spherical region whose center is the rotation center of each cross section on each cross section of the three-dimensional images that can be synchronously and comparatively displayed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
