The purpose of the present invention is to provide: a white polyester film for solar cells which has excellent environmental durability typified by light fastness and hydrolysis resistance, while having good light reflectivity; and a solar cell back side sealing sheet and solar cell module that use said white polyester film. This white polyester film for solar cells, with which the abovementioned purpose is achieved, is characterized in that the whiteness is at least 50, the average reflectance at a wavelength of 400 to 800 nm is 50 to 95%, the acid value is 1 to 50 eq/ton, and the thickness is 30 to 380 mum. The white polyester film for solar cells is further characterized by having a multilayer structure wherein a fine inorganic particle concentration-containing layer, which contains fine inorganic particles at 10 to 35 mass %, is positioned as at least one of the outermost layers, the thickness of the fine inorganic particle concentration-containing layer is 5 to 30% of the thickness of the entire polyester film, and the content of the fine inorganic particles is 2 to 10 mass % of the entire polyester film. |
