<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an image forming device which suppresses the adhesion of a development agent on an opposite side surface to a transfer surface of a recording medium on which a development agent image is transferred, in borderless printing. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming device 10 has: an image forming portion 20 corresponding to borderless printing; a secondary transfer roll 50; a fixing portion 60; a carrying unit 100 provided between the secondary transfer roll 50 and the fixing portion 60; and a rib 120 provided on the carrying unit 100. A position of a side surface 121 in a Y-direction of the rib 120, and a position of an edge PA in the Y-direction of carried recording paper P are shifted by a distance Δd. Therefore, when the recording paper P shifts in the Y-direction during carrying, an end portion (the edge PA side) in the Y-direction of the recording paper P does not drop from the rib 120. Consequently, the end portion in the Y-direction of the recording paper P during carrying is suppressed from being hooked to the rib 120, and the adhesion of toner T on an upper wall 103 to a back surface of the recording paper P is suppressed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
