<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an input device and an input control program which can suppress degradation of user's operability even when the user has performed such an operation that one text cannot be specified. <P>SOLUTION: When a plurality of texts are specified by a user's operation in a plurality of key areas K on a software keyboard SK, an MFP 10 displays one text among the plurality of texts that can be specified on the basis of the user operation with special display color (for example, red) on a text display unit TE.
