METHOD FOR CONTROLLING PATH OF MULTI-HOP WIRELESS NETWORK

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the cost of improving the deviation of a tree topology in a multi-hop wireless network system.

SOLUTION: A multi-hop wireless network is comprised of a plurality of wireless nodes. Each wireless node calculates a metric value indicating an amount giving a guideline to select an upper-level connection destination node per candidate of the upper-level connection destination node when performing multi-hop wireless communication with a specific wireless node on the basis of peripheral node information related to node information received from a peripheral wireless node, and determines the upper-level connection destination node on the basis of the calculated metric value. In order to improve the deviation of a network topology having a tree structure where a specific wireless node in the multi-hop wireless network is regarded as a root and the other wireless nodes are regarded as a node and leave, the multi-hop wireless network selects a prescribed wireless node as a target wireless node, and intentionally changes the value of node information which the target wireless node transmits to a peripheral wireless node.
