<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform positioning with high accuracy by using a distance measurement part. <P>SOLUTION: A mobile robot includes: a distance measurement part 3 which measures distance and a direction to a peripheral object; a relative posture detection part 4 which detects a relative position and a relative direction of the mobile robot to a stop point of a target object by the distance and the direction to the peripheral object measured by the distance measurement part; and a control part 5 which controls a movement function part by using the relative position and the relative direction, and the relative posture detection part detects the relative position and the relative direction by calculating a segment for specifying the target object. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
