The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition including angiogenin or a fraction of angiogenin as an effective ingredient for preventing or treating glaucoma. The angiogenin or a fraction thereof may increase the generation of NO, enlarge Schelemm's canal, and increase the intercellular gap to activate aqueous humor outflow and to reduce intraocular pressure. Thus, the angiogenin or a fraction thereof may be effectively used for preventing and treating glaucoma.
