PURPOSE: A stopper unit and a continuous casting apparatus including the same are provided to prevent a stopper from being cut during casting by cooling the stopper even if a blocking member for blocking radiant heat and flame during preheating and casting of a tundish is damaged. CONSTITUTION: A stopper unit comprises a stopper body(20) which is extended lengthwise and moved up and down to open and close an inlet of a molten steel injection nozzle and a cooling holder(100) which is installed to surround the upper part of the stopper body that passes through an inner hole. The stopper body includes a rod part(21) and a refractory part(22). The cooling holder has a plurality of injection holes on the inner periphery to inject cooling gas toward the stopper body. |
