The assembly (22A) has a carrying part (38A) adapted to be fixed directly at a driver's cab of a motor vehicle while carrying a wing and presenting the wing in its final assembling position with respect to the cabin. The wing and the carrying part are superimposed such that the carrying part forms an inner lining of the wing i.e. carrying part supports the wing on a relatively large surface in the final assembling position. The carrying part and a boot are made of thermosetting composite material e.g. sheet molding compound. The wing is made of thermoplastic material such as polypropylene.
