A broadcast receiver, a data structure of diagnosis information, and a display method of the diagnosis information are provided to inform a user of a cause that a device certificate of cable card is invalid. A host(800) comprises a controller(810) for controlling the receipt of a request of diagnosis information related to a state of device certificate from the outside or the collection of the diagnosis information according to the request. The controller receives the request and the device certificate through a communication interface. The communication interface includes a cable card(812). The host communicates with the cable card by using a host diagnostic protocol. |
