A attenuator comprises a waveguide, a metal plate, a rod, an assembly converting vertical movement of the rod to horizontal movement of the metal plate, an assembly converting rotating movement of the rod to axial movement of the metal plate; a rod moving device, a rod rotation device, a metal plate core, an electromagnetic oscillation source, a receiver of electromagnetic oscillations. A device converting vertical movement of the rod to horizontal movement of the metal plate and a device converting rotation movement of the rod to axial movement of the metal plate are located in the waveguide and connected to the rod and the metal plate core. In the middle of wide waveguide wall a hole for passing the rod is made. The metal plate is located inside the waveguide. The rod is connected to the rod moving device and the rod rotation device. The waveguide is connected to the electromagnetic oscillation source and the electromagnetic oscillation receiver. |
