PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve stable data transmission/reception and acceleration in effective data transmission rate, even when a PLC (power line communication) master unit modem and a number of PLC slave unit modems are connected to a network employing the PLC, and further to remotely monitor the operation situations of a plurality of game machines in a game parlor. SOLUTION: The PLC master unit modem 13 is connected to a PLC repeater 16 via a first branch adapter 15, the PLC repeater 16 is connected to a PLC slave unit modem 9 via a second branch adapter 7, and the PLC master unit modem 13 is connected to a game parlor server 12 via an intra-parlor LAN 11. The game parlor server 12 is connected to a center server 21 via a WAN 20, data transmission between the PLC master unit modem 13 and the PLC slave unit modem 9 is performed on the basis of a master frame having at least a synchronizing signal transmission band and a user data shared band, and transmission by packet communication is performed via the intra-parlor LAN 11 and the WAN 20.
