<p>The binding has a receiving area (4) for a ski boot (6), and a blocking device (14) arranged in the receiving area in a blocked position. The blocking device is arranged at an outer side of the receiving area in a released position. The blocking device is coupled to the binding and moved to the released position based on authentication. A locking device (16) locks the blocking device in the blocked position, and unlocked by a radio frequency identification-chip (18). The chip is fastened to the ski boot, where the blocking device is designed as a pin.
