The sensor i.e. optical sensor (1), has a display unit comprising a lamp row (13) with a linear arrangement of lamps that are rotationally arranged around a longitudinal axis parallel to a rotational axis (D). The lamps of the lamp row are actuated by a control unit such that a clock rate of a displayed matrix type display panel is output individually after columns of the lamp row are displayed with the lamps. The clock rate is adapted to rotation speed such that a standing image of the display panel is completely displayed. The matrix-type display panel incorporates texts, numbers, and/or graphics. The lamps are designed as LEDs e.g. red LED, green LED and blue LED. |
