FIELD: transport.SUBSTANCE: brake-shoe lining has rear plate. Friction facing is rigidly secured on rear plate front side while damping plate is arranged at opposite side. Hook-like guide end is attached to rear plate main part in direction of circle. Said guide end has ledge. Thrust surface is made on guide end for radial thrust in radial direction. Damping plate has cocked strip adjoining said radial thrust surface in the area of rear plate. Damping plate in the area of rear plate main part is axially shifted backward relative to said area. Method of making damping plate for friction facing consists in cutting straight damping plate from flat steel sheet. Then flexure zone is bent adjoining aforesaid main part so that damping plate is shifted backward in axis relative to strip area adjoining flexure zone. Now strip is bent so that bent strip adjoins the guide end thrust surface.EFFECT: higher reliability, decreased vibrations.8 cl, 5 dwg
