The present invention relates to a method for testing an injection system which has an injector (207) for injection of pressurised liquid to a process. Said pressurised liquid can be selectively supplied to said injector via a first valve (306), and a pressurised gas can be selectively supplied to said injector (207) via a second valve (308). The method, when said injector (207) is closed, comprises: - opening said second valve (308) to supply said pressurised gas to said injection system, - opening said first valve (306) to supply said pressurised liquid, - closing at least said first valve (306), and determining a first pressure in said injection system. - determining whether said first pressure fulfils a first criterion and, on the basis of said determination, determining whether said injection system is functioning properly or is malfunctioning. |
