A method for prevention and treatment of chronic catarrhal gingivitis in children with concominant chronic gastro-duodenitis comprises the use of immunomodulators with study of individual hygiene measures for two weeks. As immunomodulator 0.25% solution of derynat is used as applications on the gum edge twice daily after brushing in combination with altana per os one tablet twice a day for 15-20 minutes before meals and cytrargynine 1 ampoule in ½ cup of water twice a day.
