An electric-mechanical brake is provided to reduce friction between an inner wedge and an outer wedge by supplying grease into a grease hole formed at a contact surface of the outer wedge. An electric-mechanical brake comprises a disc, a pad, an inner wedge and an outer wedge. The disc rotates together with a wheel. The pad is moved by a motor to press the disc. The inner wedge is integrally formed with the pad. A lower portion of the inner wedge is formed with a saw section. The outer wedge is formed at an upper portion thereof with a saw section that is engaged with the saw section of the inner wedge. The inner wedge makes surface-contact with the outer wedge so that pressing force is uniformly transferred to the pad. A grease hole is formed on an upper surface of the outer wedge to receive grease. |
