摘要 FIELD: engines and pumps.SUBSTANCE: cooldown method is implemented due to evaporation of cryogenic fuel component remaining in the above line including a pump and other structural components after the engine shutdown, at which the above line is cutoff on the side of inlet and outlet, and draining of cryogenic component vapours from the pump cavity to atmosphere. Besides, after the engine shutdown, the pump cavity is connected through a valve to additional channels made in the turbine stator of the turbo-pump unit, the outlet of which can be connected to other hot structural components located after the turbine in a gas path.EFFECT: improving operating stability of turbo-pump unit of liquid propellant engine in start-up modes and reducing losses of fuel components.3 cl, 2 dwg
