The device (2) has a truncated cone shape resting surface (8) i.e. heat-resistant plastic part, for horizontal bearing of a workpiece (4). A single-layer solenoid coil (10) has a planar configuration and follows a shape of the surface relative to a covered surface and a gradient. Magnetic lines of force are concentrated in an internal area of the workpiece by a design of the workpiece. A driver resonant circuit (14) produces an alternating magnetic field in the coil. A profile of the lines of force of the field allows the field to directly enter areas on an upper face of the workpiece.
