FIELD: construction.SUBSTANCE: composition to make a fire-resistant material contains coarse grain in amount of more than 50 wt % and fine grain. Coarse grain contains grains with size of more than 20 mcm, and fine grain contains grains with size of less than 20 mcm. Fine grain contains magnesia-aluminious spinel and/or baked spinel and/or molten spinel and zirconium oxide. Amount of magnesia-aluminous spinel in fine grain makes from 70 to 88 wt %, and the amount of zirconium oxide in fine grain makes from more than 12 to 30 wt %.EFFECT: invention will make it possible to increase durability of a fire-resistant item.
