PURPOSE: An air conditioner is provided to improve the efficiency of a blowing fan and spatial utilization. CONSTITUTION: An air conditioner comprises a housing unit, a compressor, a heat exchanger, a blowing fan(140), a motor, and an intake passage guide(200). The housing unit includes an inlet and an outlet. The compressor is arranged inside the housing unit. The heat exchanger is arranged inside the housing unit. The blowing fan discharges air from the inlet through the outlet. The motor is mounted inside the housing unit and rotates the blowing fan. The intake passage guide applies a speed component in an opposite direction of a bypass speed component generated by the rotation of the blowing fan to the air flowing into the blowing fan.
