The invention relates to a charging system for charging the traction battery of an electrically powered motor vehicle, comprising a first rectifier that can be galvanically connected to an alternating current or three-phase power supply grid on the input side, and that is connected on the output side by means of an intermediate circuit provided for stabilizing the DC voltage produced to an input of a charge regulating circuit connected on the output side to the traction battery. The charging system according to the invention is characterized in that the intermediate circuit is connected to the output of a second rectifier that is connected on the input side to a vehicle-based electrical winding, by means of which electrical energy from a charging station connected to an alternating current or three-phase power supply grid can be transmitted inductively to the motor vehicle by means of a coupling device comprising a stationary electrical winding and that can be attached to the motor vehicle. |
