The invention relates to amateur and sports fishing and can be used for fishing predatory fish both on the surface of water in such a manner as to allow outcomes above the surface of water, in particular while laying at a low speed and for laying in nearsurface layer of water, and also is suitable for spinning fishing both by even laying and by the twitching method.The surface jig comprises a longitudinally elongated bent plate, a metal plummet, an arrangement for fixing a fishing line in the front part of the jig, at least one hook in the tail piece of the jig. The metal plummet is made as a longitudinally elongated one, flattened in the vertical plane, with the upper edge narrowed straight or concave in the middle part. At the front and back of the metal plummet two rods are made. Said rods are projecting upwards in the vertical plane above the upper edge of the plummet and advanced with a gap into the openings of the longitudinally elongated bent plate, arranged from above of the plummet. The openings are made in the front part and rear one of the plate on longitudinal axis thereof, which is also axis of symmetry thereof. The ends of the rods are longitudinally spaced separately or turned meeting each other. The arrangement for fixing the fishing line is made as an ear or a vertical flat projection in front of the plummet with an opening. The opening or the ear is carried over ahead as regards to the centre of gravity of the jig and arranged in front of the metal plummet at lower edge thereof with a shift downwards as regards to the longitudinal axis of the plate. The side parts of the longitudinally elongated bent plate are symmetrically bent downwards as regards to longitudinal axis thereof. In doing so the plate is connected to the plummet in such a manner of rotating the plate as regards to longitudinal axis thereof in the both sides for the same angle from the position such that the side edges of the plate are arranged symmetrically as regards to the plummet, and at least one hook in the tail piece of the jig is fixed to the plummet at the back or to the bent end of the rear rod bent backwards. |
